ABOUT ASHLEY
Ashley began his filmmaking career on movie sets in hollywood as a Directors assistant while still in college. Unsatisfied with finding purpose there, he pursued a successful small video production career making commercials and corporate videos. Even with that he felt that there was still something missing.
In 2010 Ashley made a film about missionaries on the field in the Philippines for his church. He saw the impact the video made and through that found the purpose he was looking for. Since starting Missionary Films in 2011 he has made 1000’s of ministry videos, worked with 100’s of ministries and missionaries, and traveled to over 25 countries making films that are part of sharing the greatest story on earth.
Today he continues to make videos for ministries while mentoring others to follow Jesus, and have a mission of making films.
Unlike other filmmaking courses your instructor, Ashley, is on mission making videos for ministries and missions all over there world. How long does it take to complete the course?
This course is self paced. Take a long or go as fast as you want. We suggest taking 6-8 weeks to finish the course. To set up your mission of making films from scratch it takes 1 to 3 years to start earning a livable wage.
Is this updated or added to in the future?
Yes. Your membership helps insures that this course is updated with the latest trends including AI, travel, client care, gear talk, and more. Included are exclusive bonus “Behind the Scenes” Videos on Recent Productions: Travel with Ashley in the United Kingdom as he makes films for ministries or watch an episode of how he films Christian fitness videos for an up and coming Fitness Ministry based in Phoenix, AZ.
How long do I have access to the courses?
As long as you are a member the courses are constantly updated and forever yours! Membership updates yearly and since we are active Missionary Filmmakers, we are always updating the bonus content and updating the lessons as they need it.
I already have a video production company, will this help me?
Yes the Pro Course will help you. There is one section in this course about setting up your business. You may not need that one. But the other 11 can apply and help you get on mission as a Missionary Filmmaker. If you have questions schedule a call with Ashley at the bottom of this page.
How long will it take me to start earning a livable wage?
It is different for everyone. Our founder, Ashley, took 3 years to save and go full time as a Missionary Filmmaker. Yet he was still filming weddings for another 3 years to help supplement his income. Since 2014, he is filming full time with ministries and missionary organizations.
Although we can’t promise success, our hope is that this course will help you to come up with a plan on how to do this successfully.
What is your refund policy?
You have 30 days once you join the membership to make sure it is the right for you. If you decide that you don’t want it, we can issue you a full refund at that time. Just send an email and we can start the process.
